Papworth Bowls Club was formed in 1950 and is affiliated to
Huntingdonshire Bowls and Bowls England.

Papworth Bowls Club is a community based club willing to encourage and teach anyone of any age to learn, play and most importantly enjoy what bowls brings to us all.

We are located on the high street as you pass through Papworth Everard with parking in either available lay-bys or in the car park behind the tennis club.

Our club is a mixed lawn bowling club. We have a six-rink green which is proudly maintained by our head greens keeper and many members of the club. We have a clubhouse with fridges and facilities and always offer a friendly welcome to all our bowlers, social members and guests.

We are registered with the Huntingdon and District Bowls league and have matches every Thursday evening both home and away. Many club members also enter other competitions throughout the season, ranging from 2/4 bowls singles matches, doubles matches and even triples.

 

The club also participate in internal competitions which take place on other evenings/days depending on lane availability.
